My Story
Shannon Spires has lived a peaceful life growing up in the diverse and suburban city of Carson, located in the county of Los Angeles, California. She is committed to having a positive impact on this world, by helping others. She has worked decades in the fields of health care, education, and juvenile law enforcement. She has a Master’s degree in Psychology and focuses her instruction on social and emotional development. She is hopeful that her endeavors help to combat the number of children adversely impacted by the ills of the school to prison pipeline. She has one adult daughter and currently resides on the island of Oahu.
